Admiral shares AI expertise at Gibraltar Day 2026

We’re proud to have helped to shape a thriving insurance sector in Gibraltar over the last 24 years. To mark Gibraltar Day in London 2026, the Minister for Financial Services, The Hon Nigel Feetham KC MP, and the team at Gibraltar Finance Centre, invited insurers, regulators and government officials together to discuss how artificial intelligence is shaping the future of insurance.
The Rt. Hon. Charles Clarke started the event by highlighting how AI can be an opportunity for positive change and how businesses operating in Gibraltar are well-placed to embrace this change.
Admiral’s GenAI expert, Michael Turek joined a panel of experts from Deloitte, PwC, DAC Beachcroft, Insurance DataLab and Native to explore the opportunities and challenges AI presents for insurers, customers and colleagues.
Michael highlighted how Admiral is embedding AI responsibly across the organisation, combining innovation with the safeguards needed to maintain trust and deliver positive outcomes for customers. The conversation also examined how AI could change the way customers interact with insurers in the future and the importance of equipping colleagues with the skills needed to adapt to new technologies.
The discussion focused on how AI can help improve customer experiences, from reducing waiting times and improving access to support, to helping colleagues prioritise customers who have more complicated claims. Panellists also explored how the industry can balance innovation with strong governance, oversight and accountability as AI adoption continues to accelerate.
Admiral Insurance Gibraltar’s CEO, Will Moulder, also attended various other events to celebrate Gibraltar Day in London and demonstrate our continued commitment to the region, throughout investment there and the work we do to help attract talent into the market.
Our Gibraltar colleagues were recently recognised as the best-performing Gibraltar-regulated insurer by Insurance DataLab’s Underwriting Performance awards. It is a testament to our colleagues’ deep expertise and the continuous skills sharing that occurs across the Group.
